Removing Tickible’s access to your Facebook Page and Instagram account
Tickible is the ticketing platform your venue uses to sell tickets. When a venue connects its Facebook Page and linked Instagram account so staff can post events from Tickible, Tickible stores only what it needs to make those posts:
- the connection’s access tokens, stored encrypted
- the Facebook Page’s name and ID, the linked Instagram account’s username and ID, and the name of the business portfolio used to connect
- a record of each post staff made or scheduled through Tickible: the text, the image link, the time, and Facebook’s or Instagram’s ID and link for the post
Tickible doesn’t read your Page’s or Instagram account’s followers, messages, comments or other people’s posts.
To remove Tickible’s access
Do either of these:
- In your Tickible admin, go to Events, then Facebook & Instagram, and click Disconnect. Tickible deletes the stored tokens and the Page and Instagram details straight away and asks Facebook to cancel its access.
- In Facebook, remove the app called Tickible Event Post. For a business connection, go to Meta Business Settings, then Integrations, then Connected apps. For a personal login, go to your Facebook Settings, then Apps and websites. Tickible’s stored tokens stop working at once.
To have the post records deleted too
Email [email protected] from your venue’s admin email address and name the venue’s website. We delete them within 30 days and reply to confirm. Posts already published on Facebook or Instagram stay there until you delete them yourself.
