Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of tickible.com and of the Tickible ticketing platform, including the websites, box office, point-of-sale, scanning and admin tools that Tickible provides to venues. Tickible is operated by Tickible LLC (“Tickible”, “we”, “us”). By using tickible.com or a Tickible-powered website or tool, you agree to these terms.

If your venue has a signed service agreement with Tickible, that agreement governs your venue’s use of the platform, and it takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.

Buying tickets

Tickets sold on a Tickible-powered website are sold by the venue or event organizer named on that website, not by Tickible. The venue sets the prices, fees, seating, refund and exchange policies, and any terms of entry, and it is responsible for the event itself. Questions about an event, a refund or a cancelled show go to the venue. Tickible processes orders on the venue’s behalf, and card payments are handled by Stripe.

Venue and staff accounts

If you use Tickible’s admin tools for a venue, you confirm that you have the venue’s authority to do so. Keep your login secure and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it. The venue is responsible for the accuracy of its event listings and for everything its staff publish or send through the platform, including emails to customers and posts to social media.

Connected services

Tickible lets a venue connect outside services, such as Stripe for payments, its Facebook Page and Instagram account for posting events, and Commerce7 for wine-club members. Your use of each of those services is also governed by that service’s own terms and policies. When a venue connects one, it authorizes Tickible to act on its behalf in that service only as needed to provide the feature the venue’s staff use. For Facebook and Instagram, Tickible posts only when a staff member clicks Post now or schedules a post, and only to the Page and Instagram account the venue connected. A venue can disconnect a service at any time from its Tickible admin. For how to remove Tickible’s access to Facebook and Instagram, and what Tickible stores, see Facebook data deletion.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Tickible to break the law, to sell tickets you have no right to sell, to send spam, to post content that infringes someone else’s rights or is deceptive, or to interfere with the platform’s security or operation. Don’t try to access accounts, data or systems that aren’t yours. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

Content and ownership

A venue keeps ownership of the content it puts into Tickible, such as event descriptions, images and its customer records. The venue gives Tickible permission to host, display, copy and send that content as needed to run the platform and to carry out its staff’s instructions, for example publishing a post the staff approved. Tickible owns the platform, its software and its design.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Tickible available and accurate, but the platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in a venue’s signed service agreement, and we are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services that Tickible connects to.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tickible is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the venue paid Tickible in the twelve months before the claim, or, for anyone else, one hundred US dollars.

Ending use

A venue may stop using Tickible as set out in its service agreement. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue after use ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date below, and for material changes we tell venues by email. Continuing to use Tickible after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
